Which connection type do I have?+
It's usually on your current bill or in your provider's app. If you're not sure, upload your bill anyway: we'll assume FTTN and you can switch the plan list to FTTP or Fixed Wireless on screen. Before anything changes we confirm it against the NBN database.
I'm on FTTN. Can I get faster than 100 Mbps?+
Not on FTTN, but NBN is upgrading many FTTN addresses to full fibre at no cost when you order a fast plan. Tick the box when you switch and we'll check your address.
Is there a setup fee?+
Transferring an existing NBN service costs $9 once-off. A static IP is $4/month if you need one.
Do I need a new modem?+
Usually not. Most NBN modems work with us — all it needs is a port on it that says WAN. If yours doesn't, we can send you some offers, starting from $190 up to $450 depending on what options you'd like.
How long does the switch take?+
Most NBN transfers complete within an hour. If an upgrade to FTTP is booked, your current service stays on until the new connection is live!
